Thank you for your email - we are very tired but incredibly pleased with how it all went.

The DFDS app didn't work at all on day 1 but on the return it was fine. The return journey was extremely smooth and we managed to get an earlier ferry too. As you mention, there were some parking issues where places where there was theoretically parking, simply wasn't the case. I was able to check in with Sean and John every evening and we discussed the following day which was a very productive way of doing things.

I was delighted to include them both in the group and I hope they felt like they were part of this - the boys were very grateful for all their driving. On a personal level, it was nice to meet them and spend the week with them. They were both incredible drivers and their advice, experience and guidance was incredibly helpful. More than this, they were incredibly flexible, able to accommodate all of our needs and get the buses as close to the group as possible all the time, alongside helping us with loading and unloading. The touring experience that Sean and John had was invaluable to the smooth running of the trip. I have nothing but good words to say about them. 

I know they are keen to drive for us in the future and if we do go down such a route for a tour next year or the year after, I would love to open that discussion with you.
