The earlier you contact us, the better. This gives us more opportunity to provide the right vehicle for your group and to plan the journey around your requirements.

 

When should I book a coach?

 

We recommend booking your coach as early as possible.

Some dates and periods of the year are particularly busy, including:

 

• School holidays

• Summer months

• Bank holidays

• Christmas and New Year

• Weddings and special events

• School trips and educational visits

• Sporting events

• Airport transfers

• Large corporate events

• UK and European tours

 

For larger groups, multiple coaches or journeys requiring overnight accommodation or European travel, early booking is particularly important.

What information do I need to provide?

 

To provide you with an accurate quotation, it helps if you can give us as much information as possible.

 

1. Your date of travel

 

Tell us the date you would like to travel.

If your journey is over more than one day, please provide the full dates of travel.

 

2. Departure time

 

Tell us what time you need the coach to arrive and what time you would like to leave.

For example:

Coach required at: 8.00am

Departure: 8.30am

If you are unsure what time you should leave, let us know your destination and required arrival time and we can help with the planning.

 

3. Pick-up location

 

Please provide the full address or postcode of where you would like the coach to collect your group.

If there are several pick-up points, please provide details of each location.

 

4. Destination

 

Tell us where you are travelling to, including the name and address of the venue wherever possible.

If you are visiting several destinations, please provide an itinerary or list of the places you intend to visit.

 

5. Number of passengers

 

We need to know how many people will be travelling.

This helps us select the most suitable vehicle for your group.

Remember to include:

• Children

• Adults

• Teachers or group leaders

• Coaches or team officials

• Anyone accompanying the group

Don't worry if your numbers are not completely final when you first enquire. Just give us your best estimate and let us know if the numbers are likely to change.

 

What type of coach do I need?

 

You don't need to know which coach you require before contacting us.

Simply tell us how many people are travelling and what the journey involves. We can recommend the most suitable vehicle from our fleet.

 

Depending on your requirements, this may include a minibus, midi coach or full-size coach.

What if I have luggage?

What happens after I make an enquiry?

 

Once we have your requirements, we will check the availability of a suitable vehicle and driver and prepare your quotation.

We will discuss any important details with you and make sure the proposed arrangements are suitable for your journey.

Once you are happy to proceed, your booking will be confirmed in writing.

 

We recommend checking the confirmation carefully to make sure the dates, times, locations, passenger numbers and other arrangements are correct. Written booking confirmation is also an important part of professional coach hire arrangements.

If you are planning a journey outside the UK, please tell us when making your enquiry.

European tours and longer-distance journeys may require additional planning, including route planning, driver arrangements, overnight stays and the appropriate international operating requirements. UK operators carrying passengers for hire or reward require the appropriate PSV operator licensing, with international operations subject to additional requirements.

The earlier you contact us, the more time we have to organise everything.

 

Do I need to organise anything myself?

 

We will take care of the coach and driver arrangements, but there are some things you may need to organise depending on your journey.

You may need to arrange:

 

• Entry tickets for your destination

• Coach parking

• Venue access

• Accommodation

• Event tickets

• Ferry or other travel arrangements

• Your group's itinerary

• Passenger lists where required

• Any permissions required by your organisation

On the Day of Travel

 

Before your journey, make sure everyone knows:

 

• Where the coach will pick you up

• What time passengers need to be ready

• Where the coach will be waiting

• The expected return time

• Who the group leader or main contact is

 

Please allow sufficient time for passengers to board the coach. If there are a large number of passengers or several pick-up points, allow additional time.

 

Your driver will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and will work with you to make the journey run as smoothly as possible.
