Katie, Head of Accounts

Hi, I’m Katie, and I’ve been a valued member of the Grayline Coaches family for over 34 years. As Head of Accounts, I oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. With a wealth of experience, a keen eye for detail and a friendly, professional approach, I take pride in supporting both my colleagues and our customers.

Outside of work, I have a passion for cars and driving at speed. One of my proudest achievements was taking my specially tuned Audi A3 to the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany at the age of 73. I completed my first tourist lap in 10 minutes and, not content with that, went on to achieve a 9-minute lap on my second attempt, recorded on my GPS. Known as the 'Green Hell', the circuit is one of the most challenging driving experiences in the world. I firmly believe age is just a number and that you should never lose your sense of adventure or stop challenging yourself!

I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, visiting the theatre, attending concerts and unwinding with a good Sudoku puzzle.

With over three decades of loyalty, dedication and experience, I’m proud to be part of the Grayline team and its long-standing family tradition.
